Listen Loudly

Founded by Nakylah Robinson

A teen-created space built around a simple idea: sometimes young people don’t need advice—they need someone who listens.

The Founder

Listen Loudly’s own story page describes it as created by a teen, for teens.

“Sometimes you don’t need advice. Sometimes you just need someone who listens.”

The Idea

According to the website, the founder experienced stress, pressure, and frustration when trying to talk to adults about what she was going through—and often felt her feelings were explained away. She created Listen Loudly because she believes young people deserve a place to talk openly without judgment, lectures, or pressure.

What They Built
  • An early-stage website presenting the Listen Loudly concept: connect, talk, and be heard.
  • Its stated mission: “to build a generation that listens better.”
  • The site invites visitors to join a “first wave” helping shape the platform—it is presented as an early version, not a professional support service.
